The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Cyril Lawrance can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Les and Shirley Blakley
Condolence: Phyllis and family-
We are so sorry that we are unable to attend Cy's funeral.
Cy was a good friend and we enjoyed working with him on numerous occasions- Lions projects- in the booth at Agripark, the horse races, painting the Rail City house.
We remember scraping and painting windows at First United and painting the ramp together. Cy worked tirelessly as a Church Council member.
We remember his pride and joy as he spoke of his family and their many accomplishments.
Always a community minded and forward thinking citizen, he believed that 10 years was long enough to work at any one job, then it was time to move to a new challenge!
Coffee with Cy at A&W was a fun time -events of the community, country and world were usually discussed and resolved to our intellectual satisfaction!
Cy was a determined and committed person. He will be missed.

Condolence From: Carmie Lazurko
Condolence: My deepest sympathy to Phyllis and the entire Lawrance family. I always looked forward to going to First United on my visits home for I was sure to be greeted at the door by Cy. We always had a nice visit. He was such a friendly man with an outgoing personality. Hold onto the precious memories and he will live in your hearts forever.
