It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Busby on September 4, 2014 just 3 days before his 91st birthday. John was predeceased by his parents, James and Mary; siblings Gordon Busby, Ross Busby, Lora Smith, Mary Bell and Annie Kardash; and his daughter, Barbara Henderson. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Kathleen (Kay); daughter Doreen Busby (Garry Fraser); son Campbell Busby (Lise Bourret); son-in-law Richard Henderson (Irene); grandchildren Robert Preston, Mia Fonkalsrud, Alexis Jackson, Erin (Susie) Busby (Ryan Shaver), Sara Miller (Ian) and Trevor Henderson; four great-grandchildren Grayson, Wyatt, Ella and Azalea; siblings Ieleen Armbruster, Jean McIntosh, Olive Herbert, Joe (Miller) Busby (Betty); sister-in law Ilene Busby; and numerous extended family members.
