Obituary for
Lillian Rose Kletchko (Kinsley)
Lillian was born to John and Rachel (Brown) Kinsley on March 19, 1922 at Broderick, SK. She was the fourth of nine children.
Lillian married Horace Scott of the Kelvington, SK area on October 31, 1942. From this union five children were born - Mary, Kenneth, Bernice, Edward and RoseAnn. In 1952 Lillian made a move to the Melville area and continued her life there. In 1976 she and her family were reunited.
Lillian met and married Peter Kletchko, and they farmed together for many years in the Wallacetown area. She enjoyed farm life and especially the animals and always had a bountiful garden. After they moved into Melville, they travelled to various destinations in Canada and the United States; the most memorable trip was to Holland. Lillian was a volunteer with the Thrift Shop and Rosary Sodality. Many hours in the winter were spent quilting; every family has one of her quilts in their home. Peter passed away in 1992, and Lillian continued to live in their home until she moved into Heritage House, later moving to St. Philomena Manor. The last two years, she was a resident at the Ituna Pioneer Health Care Centre.
Lillian was predeceased by her father, John Kinsley, her mother, Rachel (Brown) Kinsley, son Kenneth in infancy, brothers Harvey, Raymond and Melvin, sisters Edith, Irene and Vivian, sister-in-law Emma, brothers-in-law Frank Campbell, Palmer Martinson and Pete Stadnychuk and grandson David Pinder.
