Obituary for
Lindsay Joy McLellan (McLellan)
Lindsay was born July 26, 1970 in Saskatoon. She received her primary schooling at North Park School and attended Mount Royal Collegiate for high school. She spent most of her young life in Saskatoon before moving to Melville with her partner Jodie and infant son Gabriel. She remained in Melville after Jodie's passing in May of 2013. Lindsay took great joy in visiting her son Gabriel in Regina as often as she could. She was involved in the church community in Melville, enjoying the fellowship and the friends that she made there. Lindsay loved keeping tabs on her favourite celebrities and enjoyed bending the ear of anyone who would listen to her talk about them. She was a loyal friend to those who showed her kindness.
Lindsay was predeceased by her partner Jodie Kozey, mother Joyce McLellan, uncle Ron Penner, grandmother Verna Dewar, and grandparents Jim and Gladys Penner. She leaves behind to mourn her passing: son Gabriel; father Robert McLellan; brothers Doug (Patricia), Bobby (Leona), Greg (Mary) and sister Tracy (Pat) Schmidt; nieces and nephews Jesse, Laura, Carson, Ben and Kate; aunts Joan Penner, June McLellan and Betty Penner; cousins Lesli (Richard) Brayshaw and their sons Tanner and Nick, Don (Carolyn) McLellan and Maureen Bray.
We, the family, are comforting ourselves with the thought that Lindsay is finally reunited with our mother whom she missed so terribly since we lost her in 1978.
